Checking the Status of a Referral

Sometimes a customer isn't sure if they've earned points for referring a particular person. There is now a way to more easily see if a referral was submitted and completed. 

Any level of staff - admin, employee, or front desk - with a Perkville login can check on the status of a referral.

NOTE: Location rules still apply. Location specific staff can only see referrals at locations they can access. 

To check the status of a referral, log in to your business's Perkville account, and go to your customers page. 

Next, select the customer you'd like to lookup referrals for. 

There is now a tab titled View Referrals underneath your customer's name and email information. 

Clicking on the tab will bring you to a page with all submitted referrals listed by order of sent date.

You will be able to see:
- Who the customer referred
- If the referral is still a lead or if it completed and points were added
- How the referral was submitted
- If your referral offer coupon was claimed
- When the referral was completed
- Which location the referral was submitted under 

If you want to remove a referral from a customer's account, you can click on Void Referral. Voiding a referral will also remove any points if the customer received them.

To go back to your customer's list of points, click on View Transactions.
