Awarding a customer points for posting photos to Facebook about your business is now possible on Perkville through the Facebook Photo Campaign feature! Whether you're wanting to have customers take pictures of the results of their hard work at your studio, or send in cute costumed pet photos, you can create a short term campaign to generate more Facebook activity!
Please follow the steps below to set up your first campaign:
1. Choose a campaign hashtag - Navigate to My Business > Rewards Program, and click the + sign next to Earning activities. There is a new option on your edit rewards program page to create a photo campaign. Once there, choose a campaign hashtag to represent your short term campaign (i.e. #perkvillerocks or #iheartcats)
Photos will need to be posted to Facebook with this hashtag during the campaign period to earn points. Photos must also be posted within the time frame set here to earn points. A photo may be posted once per day for points.
TIPS: Try to make the hashtag unique and specific to your business for best results.
Shorter campaigns allow for more variety throughout the year.
2. Promote your campaign - Perkville is happy to assist in marketing tips for this campaign, so touch base with us at firstname.lastname@example.org for some ideas. We also send out an email promoting the campaign to your members who have earned points in the last 30 days.
3. Once your campaign is running you will be able to see the photos posted, as well as the comment accompanying the photo on your Dashboard feed. Photos are synced once per day.
4. Under the Reports sections, you will be able to view any photos that have earned points for each of your campaigns.
