Should a customer not refer a friend ahead of time, you can submit the referral for them through Perkville.com to make sure they get those referral points. Note: If you're using MindBody, feel free to scroll directly to the bottom of the page for further information regarding referrals.
First, you'll need to navigate to your customer list, either by clicking on Customers on the left hand side of your Dashboard, or click on Customers from the dropdown menu.
Then, you'll want to search for the current, referring customer whom you'd like to reward. You may either search for them by the email address you have on file, or click on the "Filter by Name" option to search by name. Please note in either case, it needs to be an exact match. Additionally, if they have not joined your rewards program, we will not have their name on file, so searching by email is a more reliable method of searching.
Once you find the customer, you can click on their name if they've joined or "Pending" if they have not yet joined. Then, you'll be able to click the Submit Referral button at the top of the customer's profile.
This will bring up a pop up where you can enter the email address of the referred customer, and as soon as that referred member earns points with you, we'll give your referring customer those points!
NOTE: If you're using MindBody, we can process any referrals submitted through their system, so the above process may not be strictly necessary. When you update the Relationship field in MindBody with who referred whom, we'll add points to the referring member's account if the referred member earns points with you within the next 7 days. Should there be any matters barring a referral being processed, reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can investigate on your behalf.
