Marking vouchers as used is a very important process in relation to the rewards program. When a customer brings in their voucher, someone at the business will need to mark the voucher as used, so as to prevent the customer from accessing/using the voucher again in the future. After it is used, then a staff member may credit the customer's account.
Here are the three different options to mark the voucher as used for a customer.
You can mark the voucher as used right on their phone if the customer brings it on their phone.
For customers that bring in a printed voucher, we have a page where you can scan them to mark them as used. You get to this page by clicking "Mark Perks as used" from the "My Business=>Dashboard" page.
You'll see the following page which allows you to scan in the code from the voucher or enter the barcode ID and then mark it as used by clicking "Submit."
Finally, you can mark perks as used on the customer details page by searching your Perkville customer list for their email. Simply click My Business => Customers, then search for the customer based on their email address on file with you. Then, click the status of the redeemed voucher to changed it from Unused to Used.
